Paul Federn à la cérémonie d'inauguration du lieu de naissance de Freud le 25 octobre 1931

"Le père de la psychanalyse honoré par sa ville natale " : Le Mémorial du Professeur Freud à Pribor - Freiberg, Tchécoslovaquie. Pribor - Freiberg, Moravie, Tchécoslovaquie : Le dimanche 25 octobre, la petite ville de Pribor-Freiberg en Moravie (Tchécoslovaquie), près de la frontière silésienne, a rendu hommage au grand psychologue et psychanalyste, le grand professeur Sigmund Freud en plaçant une plaque commémorative sur la maison dans laquelle il était né 75 ans auparavant. La maison ulice 177 de Zamecnickade Zamecnicka est maintenant habitée par un professeur nommé Zajic.

La plaque, qui a été réalisée par le grand professeur et artiste tchèque Franz Juran, représente le profil du professeur Sigmund Freud à son âge actuel, avec une inscription. Juran, qui avait presque 70 ans, a travaillé pendant vingt ans à Philadelphie (Etats-Unis) et a réalisé plus de mille sculptures, la plus connue étant celle du Président Thomas Massaryk.

Il a également conçu et a réalisé la façade du lycée de Libanon, Penn. Fräulein Anna Freud, la fille de professeur Freud, son fils aîné, son frère Alexander et son fils Dr. Martin Freud étaient présents à la cérémonie. Le Professeur Freud, quant à lui, n'avait pu prendre part à la cérémonie à cause d'une légère indisposition. Plusieurs élèves célèbres du scientifique étaient déjà présents."

"Father of Psycho-Analysis honoured by his Native Town : Professor Freud Memorial in Pribor - Freiberg, Czechoslovakia.

Pribor - Freiberg, Moravia, Czechoslovakia : On Sunday, 25th October the little town of Pribor-Freiberg in Moravia, Czechoslovakia, near the Silesian frontier, honoured the great psychologist and psycho-analyst Professor Sigmund Freud by placing a memorial tablet on the house in which he was born 75 years ago.

The house in Zamecnicka ulice 177 is now the home of a teacher called Zajic. The tablet, which was executed by the great Czech artist Professor Franz Juran, depicts a profile of Professor Sigmund Freud at his present age, and an inscription. Juran, almost 70 years of age, worked for 20 years in Philadelphia, USA and has created over a thousand sculptures, the best known of which is the figure of President Thomas Massaryk. He also designed and executed the facade of the High School in Libanon, Penn.

Fräulein Anna Freud, Professor Freud's daughter, his eldest son as well as his brother Alexander and his son Dr. Martin Freud were present at the ceremony. Professor Freud himself was prevented by a light indisposition from taking part in the ceremony. Several famous pupils of the scientist were already present."
